As written by Mark Twain, the two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you discovered why. After many trials and tribulations on this labyrinth of life, I finally found my why….I simply want to help people become better versions of themselves. I want to help people discover and reveal their inner strengths, empowering them to grow and transform themselves personally and professionally.
Having decades of leadership experience with several corporate organizations, a common observation I made was that many of my employees possessed the operational skills to perform their jobs well, but lacked the soft skills to communicate with professionalism, poise, energy and confidence. Their inability to communicate at a high level became a prohibitive factor in their career advancement opportunities.
Ultimately I decided it’s time to quit working for corporate America and start working for corporate Reneé. I launched my own business as a career coach, offering public speaking workshops and job preparedness skills for individuals who were eager and ready to take their communication skills to the next level. Paraphrasing the words of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, by developing your public speaking skills you’re building an asset that can last 50 – 60 years, or a liability that can last 50 – 60 years if you don’t.
